The temperature of New Years Eve night in Phoenix dropped down to below 40, crushing news to those who save their favorite mini dresses for the yearly night of celebration.
Any Arizona native can vouch for the extreme chills of desert nights in the winter, but a brisk 38 degrees was nothing to the attendees of Decadence Arizona.
Huddled in my fur jacket and walking into the Rawhide Convention Center, I was extremely impressed with the boldness of some festival attendees, rocking leotards and fishnets in the almost below freezing temperatures.
While many brave souls decided to tough it out in the cold for the sake of a good outfit, I noticed that a lot of attendees decided to find a happy medium between bundling up and typical rave fashion through mixing more revealing and light pieces with warm weather clothing.
A popular trend at Decadence was faux-fur and fuzzy jackets over leotards and crop tops. There were many interpretations of this combo, but I specifically liked this outfit because of how this attendee accessorized. The hat and glasses work well with the dark brown jacket, and the overall look gives me a modern 70’s vibe.
I always try and specifically keep a lookout for bold men’s fashion when at festivals, so it’s only right that these guys caught my eye.
To say “best friend goals” would be an understatement. I loved how they each did their own interpretations of the same general outfit, and they kept the colors somewhat simple to show off the jackets and shoes. Fellas, take notes!
Bestie color coordination is nothing new in rave fashion, and I really liked how subtle these girls kept it. These outfits are easy yet fitting for the event and I love how they all had a pink element in their looks!
Funky accessories and different textures were seen a lot at Decadence AZ, and this look really caught my eye as it is perfect for a wintertime rave. The all white combined with a fuzzy jacket and silver accessories gives me a snow princess vibe, and the kitty ears add a very fun touch
