If you’re looking for a new and unique shopping experience in the Phoenix area then Boutique Solie is definitely the store for you. Originally located in Scottsdale, owner Beth Soliere moved Boutique Solie to the Phoenix area in mid June of this year. Upon first glance, it is easy to see that Boutique Solie is composed of original, handpicked fashion. All basic fashion needs can be found in this store alone: fashionable flat-heeled shoes; intense, high-heeled shoes; casual, even political t-shirts and tank tops; sheer or thick formal blouses; colored jeans; long, flowing dresses, and even a selection of all kinds of accessories, ranging from bright purses to brave but trendy jewelry. The variety of fashion taste found at Boutique Solie would be difficult to find elsewhere.
“I would call [the fashion] contemporary. I do try to follow the trends,” said Beth Soliere, owner of Boutique Solie. “I try to pick out pieces that are unique.”
Boutique Solie is more than just your everyday fashion. For all of the shoppers with a lot of love for the environment, domestic products or animal rights, Soliere has them covered.
“I try to do some eco-friendly designers and sell stuff made in the USA. [I also sell] vegan friendly bags and shoes. I don’t do leather here,” Soliere said.
Boutique Solie is also very supportive of local artists and, therefore, offers a selection of certain products that are unique to the store. This is rather good news for those shoppers that do not like their style to be copied, as it would be difficult to find these original pieces elsewhere.
“I do try to get local artists for jewelry. The candles are also local,” Soliere said.
The price range is also highly affordable. Most of the merchandise is between $10 and $90, and the only thing that may be over $100 are a handful of purses and bags.
“My prices are reasonable. A lot of people think that ‘boutiques’ are automatically going to be super expensive,” Soliere said. In addition to the well-priced merchandise, Boutique Solie also offers airbrush tanning. Arizona State University students receive a 10 percent discount on all store merchandise and a 25 percent discount on customized airbrush tanning at all times.
As a Halloween special, the customized airbrush tanning is only $29 instead of its usual price of $45 ($45 is the regular price without the Arizona State student discount).
Boutique Solie is what’s new and fresh in Phoenix, and it’s a shopping experience that no modern fashion lover should or can miss out on.
“I’m always searching to bring the current trends to Phoenix,” Soliere said.
