Style, glamour, performances, cocktails, and dancing all came together for a noble cause on Friday at the Noir Partie Trois: Espionage En Couture, an extraordinary runway event presented in Scottsdale, Az at the Scottsdale AirCenter. Furne One, global couture designer to the stars such as Katy Perry, Shakira, and Jennifer Lopez unveiled his astounding Spring 2013 line, “Confessions of Mata Hari”, a tribute to Alexander McQueen. Hosted by Wilmer Valderrama of ‘That 70s Show’, the event came together benefiting Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and AZ Spinal Cord Injury Association by doing a live auction of signed works of celebrities such as Taylor Swift, The Eagles, Michael Jackson, and more.
Long evening gowns and high heels made their way down the red carpet with guest celebrities that included Diamondbacks Miguel Montero, Justin Upton, country singer Chris Young, Phoenix Suns’ Joe Courtney, business influentials and much more. Shortly after 10pm, Wilmer Valderrama was introduced and the spectacle began as he presented a quick background on Furne One. Being the owner of brand, Amato Haute Couture, One distinguishes himself for his ability to create elaborate and extravagant designs, which have never been in higher demand making him one of the most anticipated designers on the global fashion stage.
One by one, the extravagant works of Forne made their way around the runway making jaws drop by their unique, extravagant construction. His great attention to detail was noted when models strutted down the runway wearing gold and silver gowns covered in Swarovski crystals made possible by his partnership with Swarovski to produce show-stopping collections such as the one presented. Masks and headpieces were the biggest attention grabber as these were created strategically with metallic spikes and crystals covering the model’s faces. Reactions from the audience could be noted as the camera flashes didn’t settle and expressions of amazement filled the venue. An appearance by the designer was followed by a round of applause, as the guests were left speechless at the end of the show.
