Being on a college student’s tight budget, it’s always a quandary wanting to buy that designer purse or trying to find a dupe of the same quality as Urban Decay. But once we find these gems it’s like winning the fashion lottery! Here are some examples created by your own writers from The Chic Daily on how to make the most of your dollar from stores found in your local mall.
Daily fashion and style are necessities in not only looking fabulous, but also feeling fabulous. Here are a couple outfits we have found that work for everyday on a college girl’s budget.
In this outfit we have a top from Forever 21, pants from PacSun, shoes from Target and a statement necklace from a local thrift shop. This outfit works for day-to-day because it is the perfect balance of classy and sassy! You can run from class to the grocery store in style.
This outfit is a combination of purchases from Forever 21 (top), Urban Outfitters (pants), and Payless ShoeSource (sandals). This outfit is not only incredibly comfortable but also looks a little bit more dressed up for a daytime outfit. This could easily translate from running errands to going out to dinner.
Now, there are occasions where a basic casual outfit just won’t do. So, here are some great nighttime options that don’t break the bank.
The dress and luxurious faux fur coat were both purchased (on sale!) from Urban Outfitters, and the booties are from Target. An all-black ensemble is always a safe, classic option. However, the faux fur lends this outfit some edge.
Again, an all-black ensemble is a classic look. The dress ( for $5!) and jewelry were purchased from H&M, the cuff from Forever 21, and the shoes from Payless ShoeSource. The gold accent on the shoes ties all the accessories together.
All of these items were either bought on clearance, for an affordable price or by using college discounts. Looking your best does not have to always cost an arm and a leg. Here is a list from StudentRate that offers a list of stores that help students out.
We hope this helped relieve some fashion stress! What are some of your favorite stores that have the best inexpensive fashion finds? Post or comment below!
