The second day of Milan Fashion Week couldn’t have embodied more luxury and style. A few of the biggest names in Italian fashion hit the runway, including Max Mara, Fendi, Blugirl and Prada.
Max Mara
One word comes to mind when observing the Max Mara collection: power. Color choices of tan and olive combined with voluminous silhouettes give this collection a strong undertone with feminine touches. Stripes and oversized trousers celebrate the film, Querelle, which inspired the dramatic looks.
Blugirl
Argyle, pastels, fur and delicate dresses sum up the Blugirl collection. Anna Molinari displayed simplicity with color and fun with the young patterns and fresh fabrics. The collection varied from friendly fur pieces to cooing little back dresses.
Fendi
Silvia Fendi Venturini collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld on a collection that combines warrior princess with strong military structure. Strong shoulder accents are a highlight of the collection, along with fur and leather combinations and high waists.
Prada
Miuccia Prada brought pantsuits and elegance to the runway. Mostly black with a splash of pattern, styles paraded down the runway with a simply classic look. Models complemented the styles with dramatic eye-makeup and long hair extensions with contrasting colors. Delicate beading and unique pattern combinations stood out among the details.
