Just beyond the halfway point, day five of the Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week featured femininely refined garments from artful designers like Norisol Ferrari, Carolina Herrera, Donna Karan and Reem Acra.
Norisol Ferrari
Norisol Ferrari produced a collection that adheres to the curves of a woman. Ferrari worked with classic hues, focusing on black, white, gray and crèmes, creating pieces that embraced depth, structure and stoic beauty.
Carolina Herrera
Carolina Herrera displayed a scintillating array of painstakingly tailored jackets, chiffon blouses and, of course, her signature gowns. Herrera’s collection embodied modern elegance while also erring on the side of gracious class.
Donna Karan New York
Donna Karen’s dress collection ranged in color, including chalky bronze, burnt berry, mute gray and milky gold, yet remained consistently billowed and feminine. Models with heavily bronzed eye makeup ran the gamut of dresses featuring looks for evening, day or work and any assortment of dresses between the like.
Reem Acra
Indulging in a contemporary twist on her red-carpet-glamorous gowns, Reem Acra presented creative pieces that were intricately detailed and timelessly crafted. Acra didn’t disappoint with her new take on the classics, portraying a feel of delicacy and womanly strength with each gown.
