It was a show-stopping Saturday night at Phoenix Fashion Week as designers debuted their final looks on the Talking Stick Resort runways. The evening was full of palpable anticipation, breathtaking fashion and tremendous celebration, as some of the world’s hottest designers showed the valley what they were made of.
SJ Couture
Simplicity met elegance in SJ Couture’s collection of pearl-white bridal gowns. Bateau and sweetheart necklines added to its tasteful and classy image. With vintage inspiration in mind, the designer enhanced the femininity of her brides to ultimately create delicate, but striking pieces.
Bel Kazan
Vibrant and bold patterns describe Bel Kazan’s collection of windswept dresses. Inspired by the Indonesian island of Bali, the pieces were full of earth-like colors and unique prints. The clothes had a relaxed feel, making it possible for any woman to feel like a natural beauty.
Enzoni
Satiny and gleaming gowns were the substance of Enzoni’s collection. Silhouettes were polished and dress shades ranged from vibrant statuesque peaches and oxblood one-shoulders. Formal, feminine and elegant sum up Enzoani’s traditional collection of evening wear.
ENVY by Khanh
Bold, form-fitting evening dresses defined ENVY by Khanh’s collection. Bold colors and geometric shapes were very much encompassed in the designer’s pieces, making any woman in the garments the object of envy.
Bri Seeley
Bri Seeley’s collection of contemporary and feminine apparel won her the Emerging Designer Contest at last night’s event! Turquoise blue, tan and white were of the three colors to be displayed in the designer’s collection. From easy silhouettes to high-wasted skirts, each piece streamed down the runway like a wave in crystal-blue water.
Italia Rocks Couture
This collection of couture dresses was completely Italian-inspired courage. The designer behind this emerging label mixed polished fabrics with glittering and striking adornments. The look that stole the show was a Disney princess-esque canary-yellow gown that left the crowd entranced.
Suzanne Lee
Emerging Designer Suzanne Lee’s urbane collection was all street sophistication. Exotic-inspired patterns were mixed alongside relaxed spring-appropriate blazers, exuberant vests and experimental multi-length dresses.
Elevee
This charming and cavalier-esque menswear collection was all modern urbanity. The ready-to-wear collection showed off a variety sharp and flawlessly cut looks with bold splashes of patterns and colors, ready for any time of day or occasion.
Furne One
It’s easy to picture how this daring designer has dressed a long list of music’s most feminine superstars such as Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj. The sparkly and valorous collection was breath stopping and animalistic in the untamable statements. Our favorite number from the collection was tempestuous floor-sweeping storm of crimson that devoured the runway.
