Spring Break 2017: Swimsuit Guide

By Madison LaBerge

If you’re like me, you’ve thought a lot about working out and getting the perfect spring break body. You’ve thought about the hundreds of crunches you would do and the hours you would sweat on the treadmill. I really emphasize the word thought here.

Although we may not have met our fitness goals for this break, it doesn’t matter what your body looks like to feel cute and trendy all spring long.

If you’re feeling some serious Beyoncé vibes, you will fall Crazy In Love with this Forever 21 Lemon One Piece. Its deep plunging neckline and racer back straps will have you looking and feeling Flawless.

If you’re searching for a new take on the bikini top, look no further than your local Target.  The Women’s Nomad Bikini is a sporty and supportive option. It’s perfect for beach volleyball games, playing chicken and diving into the deep end – plus the strappy back is adorable!

If you tend to lean towards a more pristine design, or you prefer to avoid bold patterns, this Hollister Lacy Black Bikini Top and Bottom will fit your classic needs perfectly.

With the flirty addition of the lace trim, this look is a twist on the classic black bathing suit. If you’re nervous about changing your style, this subtle variance is a great way of spicing up  your closet.

If you are more daring and want to try something completely unexpected, Aeropostale’s Cape Juby Colorblock Push Up Halter Top and Hipster Bottom are for you. Not only do the swimsuit’s cool, vibrant colors and crochet detail look good on every skin tone, but the top is sure to give you an extra lift for all those pool, beach and waterpark days.

To channel some serious Little Mermaid vibes, PINK’s high leg one piece is a clam-tastic option. The seashell decals on the front give off an Ariel-esque appearance, especially in this icy lavender shade.

It’s also available in a “Cloud Tie-Dye” pattern that offers light purples, pinks and blues.

If you don’t have that spring break body you were hoping for, don’t sweat it! As long as you’re wearing a swimsuit you feel comfortable in and love, you’re going to look great.

Have a fabulous spring break, from everyone here at FJC!
