Three Easy Makeup Looks That Will Keep Your Skin Looking Flawless

By Alyssa Fuentes

As I’ve gone through the first few months of my freshman year of college, I’ve tried to find an easy skincare routine that can keep my face looking fresh and awake while still super natural.

Natural looks and good skin are imperative on a college campus, especially if you don’t want to spend too much time putting on makeup in the morning. Here are three go-to makeup looks that will enhance your natural beauty.

Bold Brows by Lauren

Allow your natural beauty to shine by directing attention to some staple features.

Lauren’s nude lip and flawless skin allow her eyes and brows to take the spotlight. Her green eyes are framed with some Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara, while her smooth complexion is complemented and SPF-protected by her favorite Tarte foundation.

Some other products Lauren loves using are her e.l.f. Hydrating Serum and her Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer.

Fine Freckles by Camden

Full coverage doesn’t mean having to sacrifice your freckles or beauty marks!

Like Camden, you can use some smooth Amazonian Clay Foundation without covering up too much – just make sure that you use it a little more sparingly when covering choice freckle areas, like the bridge of your nose or even your cheeks.

Using a matte lipstick always adds a little more to the look – and can still keep it super natural. Some of Camden’s faves – Revlon lip colors and Benefit They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara.

Make sure to moisturize and apply face sunscreen daily.

After that crucial step, I use my beauty blender to add some Tarte BB Tinted Moisturizer and some Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer. To get the shine that I love, however, I always use my handy dandy highlighter stick for my cheekbones and nose.

(Sometimes I even go out with just a bare face and some highlighter! It’s a great trick, especially if you’re just on your way to the gym for an early-morning workout.)

When it comes to the rest of my features, I usually don’t do much – however, I always try to leave my room with a little bit of lip gloss on. My staples are NYX Butter Gloss and Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer.

Whether you’re out and about in Phoenix, or just heading to class on any college campus, proper skin care is a huge must. Always remember some kind of hydration, whether it’s a moisturizer, a serum or a face mask in the morning. And never ever forget to put on sunscreen!

The best makeup is good skin, and having a fresh face always makes your makeup application process even more flawless.
