Valentine’s Day Fashion Help

Whether you are going out with your significant other or spending the night with your girlfriends, Valentine’s Day is the best excuse to invest in a new outfit. It’s the one holiday a year where red looks good on everybody, and you can feel pretty in pink. If you are shopping on a budget this year, focus on getting some statement accessories, like these heart-shaped earrings from Forever 21.

A red dress can never fail. Paired with a pair of nude or black heels and gold jewelry, a red dress can look good on any skin tone or body type. Department stores such as Nordstrom, Dillard’s or Macy’s are great stops to find these dresses. This dress from Nordstrom is a great example of a fun and flirty dress that is sure to keep the eyes on you all evening.

If you are trying to surprise your significant other, step out of the box and wear something you don’t normally go for. Whether that is a bold color like hot pink or colored heels let your wardrobe exemplify your feelings. Be bright and take risks. Try red lipstick for the night or smoky eyes.

If you are single and are going out to dinner with girlfriends or spending the night in, don’t let Valentine’s Day define you and your fashion. Show you’re confidence and stay trendy. If you’re staying in with friends, load up on cute Victoria’s Secret Valentine’s Day pajamas. If you and your friends are going out, be sexy and flirty with a strapless or one-shouldered dress. You don’t have to spend a lot to look out of this world.

Use this holiday as an excuse to let your style shine and treat yourself to something new besides a box of chocolates.
